Gracious God,
As we continue to walk in Christ, rooted and built up in your love, we give thanks for the gift of your Spirit that lives and moves within and among us. Strengthen us to live with courage and compassion, Not trusting in human-made systems, but in the liberating grace we have received in Christ. Help us to see each other the way you see us and to love each other the way you love us.

We pray for your Church in all its diversity. Keep us centered in the welcome shown to us in Jesus, so that our witness may reflect justice, humility, and peace. Free us from the things that distort the Gospel or create systems of exclusion and domination. And instead, may we be communities that embody the love, inclusion, and freedom we have in you.

This morning we lift up the world and its suffering. Where war continues to rage, bring peace rooted in justice. Where greed drives oppression, let equity take root. We remember especially those who are marginalized—refugees, the poor, those who love differently, those who look different. May your Spirit stir in us the courage to act to help bring a healing to this world.

We also remember this morning those who are hurting in body, mind, or spirit. For those living with illness, those burdened by grief, whether expected or unexpected, and those crushed by despair and loneliness, may your presence bring them comfort. Make us agents of your compassion so that no one suffers alone.

God of hope, We pray for our own hearts. Unbind us from shame and fear. Remind us that we are made alive with Christ, that nothing can separate us from your love—not doctrine, not failure, not the expectations of others. Let us live with joy, not judgment; with grace, not guilt.

Teach us to let go of the things that do not give us life, and to hold fast to Christ—who is our focus, the fullness of love, the great includer, the life-giver, and the truth that sets us free.

We offer these prayers in the name of Jesus, the one who taught us to pray saying….
