Olivia Blake

Olivia Blake serves as the Ministry and Communications Assistant at First on Fifth. She is responsible for managing the church’s internal communications, including the newsletter, website, and worship guide, as well as for supporting ministry programming and administrative operations. 

Olivia holds a Master of Public Health, with honors, from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Wake Forest University. She is also certified in Mental Health First Aid through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.

One of Olivia’s favorite passages of Scripture is Romans 12, which calls us to practical Christian living through renewal of the spirit, gracious service, and love in action.

Olivia joined First on Fifth after moving back to the Triad in 2024 and is grateful to be part of this passionate staff team serving such an authentic and welcoming community. In addition to her staff responsibilities, you can find her on Sunday mornings leading the Converge Sunday School class and chatting with fellow congregants in the pews before worship.

When she’s not at First on Fifth, Olivia loves embracing the beauty and creativity woven into everyday life—whether that’s hiking through North Carolina’s state parks, trying her hand at a new craft, experimenting with a recipe in the kitchen, gathering friends around a shared meal or coffee, or wandering the aisles of independent and used bookstores in search of the next addition to her ever-growing shelves.
