The Personnel Committee of First Baptist on Fifth is overjoyed to announce our new communications team of Olena Withrow and Ryan Jones! These two will share the responsibilities for our church’s communications that had previously been housed as one Communications Specialist job and first originated by Abigail Cook.
Olena Withrow is no stranger to our church, having served since August of 2023 as our Ministry Assistant. Olena’s role will expand to Ministry Assistant & Communications Manager, and she will add hours to her weekly workload at First on Fifth. She will be responsible for all our communications that are more internally-facing, including our weekly and monthly newsletter, weekly worship guide announcements, weekly updates to the website, communications spaces around the building, and any print materials. Ryan Jones joined First on Fifth last year with his wife, Kelly and son, Felix. His role will be as our Media Contractor, and our church will be contracting with the nonprofit-centered branding company he runs called Do Good Brands. Ryan will be responsible for our communications that are more externally-facing, including all our social media management, content creation, Sunday worship livestreaming, video production, podcasting, website troubleshooting, and external marketing.
