Hiking at Hanging Rock

Join our Hiking Affinity Group led by Robert Parker, Tommy Henley, and Ash Henley for a day at Hanging Rock State Park. Both trails start at the Visitor Center Parking Lot at 1005 Visitor Center Dr, Westfield, NC 27053.  We’ll meet at the North East end of the parking lot, the opposite end from the entrance.

Hike #1 will take off at 11:00am. The morning hike will be to Upper Cascade Falls.  This is 0.2 miles each way and mostly level.

The group will pause for lunch around noon in the picnic area in the woods beyond the end of the parking lot.

Hike #2 will leave out around 1:30pm. The afternoon hike will be to Window Falls and Hidden Falls.  This is 0.6 miles each way, but steep. Feel free to join for just one or both of the hikes! Contact Robert, Tommy, or Ash to let them know you’re coming!
