First on Fifth is a partner church with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF) and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina (CBFNC). One of the many joys of being a partner church are the annual gatherings. CBFNC is hosting their annual gathering next week, March 19-20 at Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh. Most of your pastoral staff and many of you have already registered for this incredible opportunity to fellowship and connect with folks from all over NC. Particularly in this season of Lent, there is great value is stepping away from your normal rhythms to connect with new people, reunite with dear friends, cultivate new friendships with like-minded people, attend workshops that help you grow and learn about faith communities, worship with people from all over, tell stories about all we are doing here at First on Fifth, and of course, experience the great exhibit hall where you can pick up great swag and candy 🙂
