The First Sunday of Lent
Again & Again: Near and Far
Mark 1:9-15
In worship on Sunday, we mark the first Sunday of Lent with a new sermon series called “Again & Again.” We’ll follow Jesus through the wilderness temptations, and draw encouragement through his experience. The Sanctuary Choir, along with Jake Hill and Jill Knight on the piano, will lead us in an anthem called “Festival of Praise.” We’ll enter into the spare reaches of Lent through a Taize chorus, a new altar design, and a spirit of reconciliation for the season ahead.
