This week around the church house…
Today (Thursday), the old chiller will be removed from the back of our building! This is happening through the work of a huge crane on site, lifting off the chiller and preparing the stand to receive the newer, more efficient and right-sized chiller for our building on March 5. The photo you see here came from the preparatory day yesterday of getting the crane ready for action today!
The scaffolding engineer has cleared it for full usage, so we’re looking to early next week for Michelle Walter, our preservationist, to begin her work. We anticipate a good deal of work happening on the front side of our building starting soon!
A good deal of concrete block has been laid for our handicapped ramp this week! This work has been coming along quickly this week, thanks to several days of dry weather!
Boiler room piping is being insulated and inspected this week, and upon completion of this part of the project, we’ll soon regain access to the room and bathrooms on the ground floor beside the nursery (formerly known as the bridal suite!).
Thanks for your patience and flexibility in this season of transition!
